The worst place ever. After they get your money they ignore any requests. I put a deposit 1000$ for floor replacement in Scarborough location but they did not manage to complete even estimates. I am not able to get my money back despite of all promises. They disrespect your time and have 100 of excuses not to return your money, their attitude is humiliating and apathetic. Job well done

We had been looking for hardwood floors since 6 months and when it comes to our home my wife gets very selective.We saw this flyer and thought of checking it out.Pleasant sales reps and my wife chose a Maple floor that they had almost everuthing in stock and boom we have our floors in less than three weeks.2500 sq.ft floors done in 3 days and the installers were amazing.My wife is happy and so am I.Good job guys.

Amazing service and prices

Hardwood Design Centre is amazing. I was looking for a good deal since last year,I got a flyer in the mail and went in to have a look.Beautiful showroom and amazing prices.Got Hardwood for my whole house and stairs were also done by them.The crew were a pleasure to have in our home. They worked efficiently and cleanly, and provided solutions for problem areas of our 100 year old house. We are very thrilled with the job.

Worst place to buy hardwood

I typed here a horrific story about my experience with this company but my text was too long for this service to accept. I’ll try to post it somewhere else but here is the very short summary. Their top of the line hardwood product is extremely defective (not just hardwood natural imperfections but also manufacturing) – there is absolutely no quality control inspection during the manufacturing process. The customer service in the store is absolutely horrible and their policies are very questionable. I now have to wait 8 to 10 weeks for a refund cheque for the 2 boxes I returned. Of course right away I was provided a phone number to call and complain if my refund cheque doesn’t come in after 10 weeks – not a good sign. I don’t think my nightmare is over...

Happy With My Floor

i highly recommend the services provided to me by Hardwood Design Center. I am very happy and pleased with the Manager of this company and his efficient sales people . The quality of the workmanship and the professional manner in which our installation was handled is excellent! The beautiful hardwood flooring replaced carpet in our ten year old home. The sale person patiently assisted us with professional advice in making decisions from the beginning.A year later we had water damage from a leaking water line, they gave us in a very reasonable estimate and replaced the damaged flooring with bamboo. OMG no one can tell that its bamboo floors.Price and quality both are best .All work was done in a timely manner. We are very pleased to have had them in our home.

We are currently pursuing legal action

Horrible customer service and product. If you have a problem with your product you will not be able to find a manager, nobody is ever available at head office, and they take no responsibility for their defective product. They sent somebody from their supplier to my house and he tried to intimidate me into signing a release. I have never before thrown anybody off of my property but would throw this guy again in a second.

Go anywhere else

Terrible and slow service, warehouse looks like a garbage bin. After they have your cash, any problems you have are treated with indifference and rudeness. I do renovations for a living and this is some of the worst customer service interactions I've ever had with any retailer and be prepared to wait while they answer cell phone calls mid conversation.

Worst Place Ever

This place is horrible. Do not do business with them. They have extremely horrible service. They have hung up on me when I complained about the poor service instead of dealing with concerns. I would give them a zero if I could

Terrible service

This is probably the worst place to buy hardwood, I purchased 4 boxes of wood and when the guys doing my floors realized that one box was short the owner of the store basically told me that it is not his responsibility to make sure the accurate amount of wood is in the boxes, so basically we had to buy another full box of hardwood at full price. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone !
