Well, I went back again with another coupon. This time it did not include the coffee ($4.49). That sounds good until you realize that you pay $2.09 for the coffee. And that wouldn't have been so bad had the meal been better quality. Eggs were okay, but had two very thin rashers of bacon that I could inhale in one gulp! The homefries were edible, nothing special. The bread seemed to be the cheapest white bread that they could find. I would have been upset had I had to pay full price for this breakfast. I actually enjoy my senior $3.99 breakfast at Zellers (coffee included), and you can order homefries for an addition $1.39. To give Golden Griddle some credit, I do like their fish 'n chips, at least at the one in London, Ontario that I frequent when I travel there.
A friend and I had two half-off coupons for breakfast, so thought we'd give it a try. Each breakfast cost $4.08, which included coffee! But, I'm not sure if I'd want to pay $8.16 for the same thing. My only complaint is that I asked for my sausage to be cooked well done, and came white. Asked for them to be cooked more, and they came back pretty much the same way. Recently I was in London, Ontario, and had their Halibut and Chips and loved it. Very good!
