I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well. Lire plus

Everything was so perfect, I like the way every dish had unique flavours, fresh herbs and seasonings, the homemade smoked sambal aioli was to die for on the fritters, we bought a jar to go, the food is inventive and well executed and we will gladly make the drive from Waterloo any day for that caliber of food. Myself and my husband went for dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time. The crab cakes and wings were delicious. The hunter chicken and sirloin steak were cooked perfectly and tasted good too. The dessert trio snd tiramisu coffee topped it off well. Will definitely go back again. I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Lire plus

Although they're famous for their chicken, we'll be going back for their fish (and maybe try the chicken for my 'no way I'm eating fish' husband). My son and I were looking for a quick bite for lunch after doing some shopping at the nearby Scholars Choice and found this place. Smelled soo good. As we didn't see a lot of prices or labels, my son ordered the Portuguese sausage sandwich and I lingered over the windows filled with mountains of fish, rice, potatoes and was served by a very pleasant and helpful young man. I asked about a particular dish and ended up ordering the amazing looking and super delicious cod with a side of potatoes, The server put two layers of potatoes in a good sized container, covered it with the huge portion of cod and then he began spooning a loving amount of the yummy sauce over the dish. As it really isn't a sit down place, we were hungry and ate there. I paid less than $20 and was in heaven. My son enjoyed his sausage but will definitely order the cod next time. Was surprised to read about 'grumpy' servers. Ours even thanked us for coming on our way out. Maybe because it was in the early Friday afternoon, we saw that customers were served quickly (looked like they ordered huge quantities ahead) and courteously. Definitely going back for that cod. I go here all the time with my family. Wa all enjoy the great atmosphere and good service. The food is delicious! My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology.
