Travelling around the world and experiencing different cultures led Summer Bozohora to take a closer look at holistic health and how it corresponds with eyesight. “It felt like my purpose," Summer says. "A lot of people have glasses, and no one is doing anything to improve it, so it seemed like a natural thing to do.” She finished her Master's degree in the emotional and spiritual implications of vision. She then developed a meditation style and used it to help improve her own eyesight. This led to her desire to help others through opening the Natural Vision Improvement Centre.
Located in the Roots on Whyte Alternative Healing Building, the Natural Vision Improvement Centre takes a look at the eye from a whole body perspective, with a focus on creating a natural balance. “The optic nerve is part of the central nervous system,” says Summer. “Many people don't realize the eyes respond to what is going on with the rest of the body.”
