When you think of costumes, you may think of those pop-up stores at Halloween. But where do you go when you get an invite to a theme party and it's not October? Simple, you go to Karries Kostumes in St. Albert. This shop has been providing costumes and outfits year-round since 1982. “People dress up all year round,” says Karrie. “There are parties going on all the time -- 70s, 80s, disco parties and masquerade parties. You can’t find a lot of that throughout the year. Party stores might have it, but we have higher end and nicer quality items.”

Halloween has become almost as popular in sales as Christmastime in terms of decorations, props and costumes. Add to that the growing interest in dressing up and Karries Kostumes is kept busy 12 months a year. “It’s amazing how many people do dress up now. Every weekend we have costumes going out for theme parties,” says Karrie. “I have great staff and it’s fun working with them. Dress up is a fun thing. It’s a very fun industry.”

    The makeup they have for Halloween isnt cheep stuff it’s the best Halloween makeup I have used!! So go ther for your Halloween costumes and makeup!!
