A pioneer in the industry, Cedric was first to offer whale watching tours from Vancouver. After years working in the commercial fishing industry, Cedric recognized a unique opportunity. “He was the very first one, everyone thought he was crazy because they thought you had to go all the way to Tofino or Victoria to see whales,” says Tanny, general manager of Vancouver Whale Watch.
But Cedric's instincts were correct. And since 1998, Cedric and his team have helped create unforgettable whale-watching memories for thousands and thousands of tourists who have come to Vancouver from all around the world.
Operating out of Steveston, a quaint historical fishing village, Vancouver Whale Watch trips focus on Southern Resident Killer Whales, Transient Killer Whales, majestic Humpback whales, and other marine wildlife such as porpoises, sea lions, seals and bald eagles.
