Shooting a game of pool is one of Canada’s favourite pastimes, not to take anything away from hockey. In the fall of 2013, Michelle started Michelle’s Billiards and Lounge as a way of giving Whitby residents a place to unwind and form new relationships. It's also a venue for pool players to hone their skills for the Canadian Poolplayers Association (CPA), a subsidiary of the world’s largest pool league, the American Poolplayers Association. Plus, Michelle has been able to build a relationship with Henry Street High School and Anderson Collegiate by integrating their school curriculum with her pool hall.
