Markus at Tonalco is the guy to see. I had so many lights and alerts on in my car and other mechanics could not resolve my issue for 2 years. Finally I went to Tonalco and they took care of everything. I am now driving a safe car. They have also done many of my family members vehicles and went far an beyond the service expected. Strongly recommend.

If you want to be taken for a ride... Beware!!!

Had an estimate on a upper balljoint for $350 (reasonable). Went to go pick up the car and they told me that a wheel stud (where the wheel bolt attaches to) was seized and they couldn't remove the tire and that they had to drill it out which took 2 hours!!! I said to them, How could that be possible when i just had the tires changed 2 days ago!!! Total came out to $600 for an upper balljoint, i know for certain that they made up that the wheel stud was seized to charge me for 2 extra hours!!!

When you don't have a choice

$ 135 to change 4 tires! I don't know if someone could find a more expensive service for the same job somewhere else in Montreal. At least, the job was well done and so far I don't have any complaints about the work quality. Purchased the tires on the Internet from TireRack. At that point I had to choose: either to have them shipped to my adress by UPS, or to have them sent to an approved installer. And TONALCO was closest to home, hence my choice. The place is dusty, not very clean, there are lot of boxes with spare parts behind the counter, nobody smiles when greeting you, nobody talks to you. Cold and impersonal. Next time I will have the tires delivered at my place and take them to a more friendly garage.
