The Greenhouse Bistro & Cafe is an unassuming little restaurant in central Maple Ridge offering customers an incredible dining experience. The food is always prepared with the freshest incredients with meticulous attention to creating the most delicious meals. I can attest to this because I often sit right at the counter where I thoroughly enjoy watching the chef make his magic. The portions he provides are nothing short of huge and the prices, unbelievably reasonable compared to any other restaurant I have been in. The staff are warm, friendly and attentive as is the chef. Great value - Great Food - Great Service We went to Cravings for Valentine's and it was simply one of the best dinners we have had in Vancouver. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They had a great selection of 4 starters and a selection of 4 entrees. We had the " best of both worlds" - an awesome combo of seafood, chicken and steak. The tiger prawns were huge and grilled to perfection. The double bittersweet chocolate cake for dessert was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Great selection of wines - reasonable prices and a very quiet setting. When visiting my friend at nearby Royal Columbian Hospital we stumbled upon this stylish eatery and decided to give it a try! The restaurant is beautifully furnished and warm with dark wooden floor. We ordered the Pad Thai, Green curry and crispy spring rolls. While we waited for the food we could hear the other table rave about their dishes to the server. I am well acquainted with Thai food and couldn't wait to see what all the fuss was about! As my curiosity peaked our spring rolls arrived, well presented and un-oily! Were these really deep fried? The pad thai and green curry were extraordinary! This is probably the best Thai food I've ever tasted and I'll be back with family very soon. Lire plus

WOW! I had heard that this restaurant has been in buisness for about 30 years, so i took my family and we finally visited the well-known family owned restaurant. The service was great, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the food- AMAZING! It would literally melt in your mouth with every bite. The overall quality of their avocado and spicy salmon rolls are better than most other places. The delivery was fast and they were within 5 - 10 minutes but promised a 30 minute maximum wait. What a wonderful place for lunch this past weekend! We sat on the small, yet sunny patio out front and loved it. The Gooey Cheese Griller sandwich, the vegetarian sandwich, the spinach salad and french onion soup were wonderful. So yummy! And on Saturday's sangria pitchers are on special...and they were good! Not too juice tasting/sweet like most other places. The only downfall I would say is the bathroom - it was not very clean and wasn't a great way to end lunch! We recently moved to Surrey so we were excited when we heard about this restaurant in our area and thought we'd give it a try. Oddly, we saw some gift certificates for it at Holt. We paid about $75 for $100 in gift certificates, so it seemed like a great way to get a discount on dinner. Dinner was great - we took the advice of friends and both had tenderloin steak that came with amazing garlic mashed potatoes - yummmm!!! I had a fantastic martini on recommendation of our server - it was a sour apple. I find some restaurants have watered down martinis, but this one definitely wasn't - it was just perfect. Our service was just good. Not terrible, but certainly not close to downtown high-end restaurant quality the night we were there. Having said that... this isn't a downtown high end restaurant - so if you go in with the right expectations, its a great night out. We'll definitely be back... and if I see Holt gift certificates again, I'll be picking them up. You might want to ensure you make a reservation too. Lire plus
