Our family loves East Indian food and we have been here at least a dozen times in the past year and a half. This is saying a lot as we don't live in Penticton, and we have a young family! The food here is amazing every time. Perfectly seasoned and so deliciously fresh. My husband is on his way home with takeout right now and WE CAN HARDLY WAIT TO EAT! Had a rookie one night and she was nervous when pouring my beer, Noticed that it was going to foam up so I took the glass and pointed out a good pour. A good authentic place to go if you are in the mood for Indian food. Our server was perfectly attentive to our needs (didn't come around too much or too little). They have a combo dinner for two that includes an assortment of the dishes my wife and I enjoy the most (butter chicken, lamb dish, vegetable dish, tandoori chicken, naan and rice, and even Indian desserts). 40 bucks for both of us! I have been extremely satisfied with the consistent excellent Service, Menu selection and Meal quality over the past 2 1/2 years at Denny's Penticton. The critical Reviews from 2008 accurately reflected conditions at this restaurant during that period. We quit going there then because of the problems we experienced. In my opinion, Denny's now offers better Service, Meal quality and Menu selections than any of the other Restaurants in Penticton. Lire plus

First of all, I must disclose that I am a Butter Chicken addict. I always order that dish whenever I eat at an East Indian restaurant. When I went to Chutney, I initially didn't think they served Butter Chicken...but the server explained that they do of course have it...they just use the official East indian name for it on the menu (I forget what it was called). Anyways, it was very well prepared and delicious (the medium spice level was perfect for me). Great food and reasonable price. Staff was accomodating. Not the best place if you are in a hurry...but if you want to enjoy a nice dinner out I would highly recommend Chutney. Lire plus

Although only open for dinner, this restaurant is often busy but if you are there when they open it can be better for us "old folks". The food was fresh and good and the staff friendly and helpful. When they found out it was my birthday they gave me my meal for free. Too bad they aren't open for lunch as we've often been in Kelowna looking to have a decent Chinese lunch. We'd go back again.
