I wasnt able ro visit the location in person, however the correspondence over the phone and courtesy was amicable for a four star rating on atmosphere. I didnt feel rushed even though I had many questions before and while placing my order and hope to bring my family into the restaurant to dine next time so we can honestly give five stars all across the board. I never expect I can find a place where you can have a good food and service. First time when I went in Lotus Garden for lunch, I was little worry about place because outside sings were looked old. But i was surprised the food and service were excellent. Especially the Slat and pepper Chicken wing and Crispy Squid, on My gosh, they are amazing . At the same time, their service were friendly and they can play jokes with you. just like you are their friend. their atmosphere is very suitable for eating and you can relax. especially the classic Chinese music, really interesting and enjoyable. This is one of those family restaurant places that you get a ton of food for what you pay. When we order takeout, we spend maybe about $10 a person. $15 at most. The atmosphere is really relaxed and cozy with some nice booths and personable staff. (Lights are a little dim.) The orange chicken is one of the best dishes here and vegetables are good. This is probably NOT the place to get really authentic stuff though. Overall a sweet Hamilton spot. Lire plus

Food was served within minutes - big portions considering the low prices. We visited the restaurant in the evening when it was less busy; the lady serving was nice, asking a few times if we had everything we needed. Low prices, good food... definitely worth another visit. The food and portions here are really worth checking out. A very relaxed casual dinning experience. I've been going here for over 6 years now. The staff is friendly though the older family members of the restaurant do have some trouble with English. The foods always hot and made to spec and if you do have questions and concerns they will do their best to make the meal right for you. My favorite meal choice is the General Tao chicken they serve its a spicy dish that got crispy chicken done up in a hot yet sweet sauce mixed with sesame seeds. The inside might not look like much but if you appreciate good food and decent prices I recommended it. The only downside is there really isn't parking so you must look to park on Gage ave.
