Not bad for a family diner type of place. Food can be a bit greasy. Definitely not health food!
Servers tend to be inexperienced, but friendly and eager to please. Worth a try.
On my first visit to Apple Annies kitchen I wasnt...
On my first visit to Apple Annies kitchen I wasnt very impressed. There was a long wait for food and they seemed very understaffed. Mind you when it did eventually get there it was hot and the steak neptune I had was delecious. Although due to poor of service and waiting time I probebly would not have gone back had a friend not told me what a wonderfull experience she had had there. I took her word for it and upon ariving found that the place seemed to be doing alot better, there were plenty of servers on the floor and most people seemed happy. This time it only took 15 min. for my g.f's and my 2 8oz steak dinners wich were cooked beutifully and came with 2 salads, garlic bread, vegetables and your choice of a starch. And all for only 24.99 wich was a great deal all things considered. Our server was also a great help through all this being warm and perceptive without being overbearing.
You can tell that this restaurant had what it takes to be one of the greats, now that its on its feet. I would definatly recomend it to anyone looking for a nice family meal or even a quite evening alone with someone special.
The potato pancakes are incredible, everyone should try them. Although the food was good the service could have been improved as it was quick, but the servers need to be a little friendlier...Overal it is a excellent dining experience and if you are looking for anywhere to go, this is a place everyone should try!!
Waitress was not paying attention to our table when serving. She put both drinks in front of one person. When I asked for a slice of lemon for my ice tea, waitress brought it in her bare hands and dropped it in my tea. (she stated she was alergic to lemon), all the more reason why she should not have bare handled it. This should have been in a little bowl for me to handle.
Left over food was taken to kitchen for wrapping up and my friend paid for the fries but did not get them with her wrapped up package to take home. I believe the containers should have been brought to the table and patrons should put in the containers themselves. This is the way other restaurants do it. If both people have the same thing to eat, how do you know you got the right package. Had to wait forever while our waitress cleaned tables for our bill.
