I agree with another poster - service here is hit or miss. Some of the waitresses/bartenders are phenomenal and others you almost have to stand on your chair and shout to get attention.
Food is pretty standard as far as selection. They do have some deep friend pickles that are out of the ordinary and pretty good. Sandwiches are good, as are the wings (so my friends tell me, I don't eat them).
We go here every other week and continue to return. If you plan on drinking, be advised that they do the "dental spit cups" for shots.
I go here quite a lot. The food is good and the service is friendly. The only problem that I sometimes find is that if there are more than a few tables occupied, the service can be quite slow - this is because they usually only have 1 or 2 people serving at lunchtime and they easily become overwhelmed - quite a few restaurants seem to assume that they aren't busy enough for an extra server but I think that's a mistake - let's face it, they aren't paid very much anyway so why not let someone else make a few bucks? It does make a difference. Anyway, while I'm still working in Guelph I'll still be going there once or twice a week. Recommended.
