Very Disappointing! rigid,not accommodating to people with allergies! Was told -will remove items on menu but will Not Substitute- other items & alternates will be charged extra! Service is limited! -no one came to refill water glasses - nor return to our table ask how we were - as they did to adjacent table who arrived 15 min later!! TREAT ALL YOUR CLIENTS EQUALLY!
I have been coming to Cafe Limoncello for years. I always bring clients from out of town for lunch and dinner. Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere. They also have a private banquet room which we had our Christmas Party. Everything for Fantastic.....
Food was bland and more or less tasteless. Portions were very small. Service was slow (and 2 mistakes were made in the order). Atmosphere is crowded to the point that they might as well have one long table and bench rather than separate tables that are a centimeter apart. Prices are exorbitant for the little that you get. It seems they do good business here and I can't for the life of me figure out why ....
OK, let me just say that this not a bad restaurant as the food was OK, it's just overpriced for what you get.
I selected a small pasta and my friend a regular, and both of them were quite small. Neither of us are big eaters and we were still hungry afterwards. (Not pleased at all.)
On the plus side, this place has a nice atmosphere.
If you're stuck in the area and need a place to go for lunch, then this is OK. Otherwise, there are better spots downtown and in Stoney Creek.
