Food was nice and very well presented, service was OK. I was not impressed that the Tip was included in the overall price of the bill. I thought it was very cheeky and would have preferred to make my own decision on the tip amount.
We had an excellent late Valentine's Day dinner at Solstice. The bruschetta was perfect, the caesar salad was really good. I had the spaghetti alla pescatore, but I asked them to do a substitution for me (remove the mussels) and they happily obliged. Our server was very attentive and pleasant, and we had a great time talking to him. My boyfriend's veal parmigiano was very good - I almost wish I ordered that instead! Our evening was very special because we got engaged right before dessert, so I don't remember too much about the tiramisu... overall, the food was excellent and we can't wait to go back. We are planning our wedding reception next year in the private room and hope to get back there for a dinner or two in the meantime. Vince, Andrew and their father were very helpful and personable when we went to discuss the use of the room for our reception - haven't met their brother, the chef, yet, but hope to do so soon.
We worked with the restaurant to make a special 4 course dinner for our group. They gave several different choices for each course and even printed our company logo on the menu. When we had booked this event I was a little worried about giving everyone such a complex menu because of the size of our group (32), but the event was perfect from begining to end. My bosses were very impressed. The best holiday party our company has ever had. We were very happy and can't wait to return next year.
My husband & I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here with 30 of our friends and family. We have been coming here for sometime and thought this would be the perfect place to celebrate. As always the food and service were perfect. One of the best restaurants around. We can't wait to have another party.
service was very poor; mushroom risotto was like eating moist salt and had a weird bitter taste that made me nauseous; creme brulee was so sweet, like diabetes in a bowl. some ordered tiramisu that took 20 mins to be served, coffee was cold. absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been to and not worth the price they were asking. the food was so bad I could not finish it. Absolutely horrible
