was excellent it was on a busy friday night. I see a pattern in that the best and only times to eat there are just prior to peak (5ish) and never late in the evening or just after a major food rush as we've eaten there on off times and that absolutely explains the difference in food quality and service I've seen in these reviews.
The big MANDARIN. The buffet of buffets. With such a large establishment, price, food and service go hand in hand. Selection is vast and the amount of food is plenty. Lots of fried food, seafood and salads. Be sure to catch the food early though as the food sometimes is out too long and gets dry and tough :(. Seems to me for the price we pay = the selection of food we get. Not necessarily the quality. Service is good and thorough.
I went with my friend,her mom and her mom's friend and she was being bad..but the food made all the difference! We had about 3 full plates of delicious crab legs and tons of desert and it was fantastic! The waitresses were so nice and the washrooms were so clean, I want to go today!
It's expensive but it's soooo good!Go there sometime!
