They book in 4 hour time blocks and the tech stayed for 10 mins if that. When he left, the problem was as bad or worse than before he came. For me to miss half a day of work, and not be in any better situation with my fridge, it cost me just over $100. Several phone calls later over several weeks and they still haven't fixed the issue. So good luck if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with this company.
I had a technician come to my home to check my deep freeze because it was continually running. The tech they sent wasn't here for more than 2 min. and all he did was HOLD the multimeter behind my freezer without checking any motor parts (in which the motor was on the other side of the deep freeze from where the tech was standing) and told me it was my compressor and that it would cost me 1000.00 dollars yes people 1000.00 to fix it. I would definitely not trust this company.
The owners of this company are rediciulous. Being the only "authorized" repair depot in the area for my appliances, i had no choice but to load my appliances into a truck and go to Calgary. I waited for repairs up until my warranty was going to expire. Midway would say they are coming, and then never show up. I waited 2 years with dozens of phone calls, and emails to them.
Midway Appliance Service has TERRIBLE SERVICE! I need service on my VERY EXPENSIVE Miele Build In Coffee Maker however Midway informed me that their Miele tec does not travel to my area (Olds) and they would like me to pull the unit out from my custom cabinets and unhook the water supply by my self and load the unit into my car and drive it to them. YEA RIGHT are you kidding me!
