I don't normally write reviews but this time I made an exception. My fiancé went the Enderby Jewellers with my engagement ring to get it sized and asked them if they could also take out the head of the ring, as it was a cluster of diamonds and I wanted one single one. We were doing this because I love love love the band. They sent it to their goldsmith and got back to him a week later telling him they might not be able to do it as the band is silver and that made it difficult. So he asked them to return the ring and he would try to take it somewhere else, they didn't want that. They changed their minds and kept the ring. We didn't hear from them for two weeks, at the two week mark my fiancé called them and was told it could be done, they just needed to order in a diamond and gave him the price. Promising the ring to be done by the end of the month. Three weeks go by and again we had to call them and they informed us that they cant do it without ordering in a preset head, which could take who knows how long, and the ring was sitting back at the shop untouched. So, after having my ring for six weeks, making it impossible to plan engagement photos, we finally got the ring back with no change. When we picked up the ring I expected some kind of explanation or apology, we received neither. My experience at this jewellery store left me very disappointed. For small gifts the shop is fine but would never recommend if you need any kind of alterations, better off to go to Vernon, might cost you a little more but at least you know they are reliable.
