    ankle/foot cherry blossom

    I had an old tattoo covered with a cherry blossom branch, and i am extremely pleased with the results! The shop is clean and the staff very proffessinnal. I will definitly be back for more ink and encourage other to stop by the shop and check them out!

    First Time

    The staff were friendly and the place was clean and not what I was expecting. It was my first time and Marci put me at ease. They did a wonderful service to the Japan Relief. Thank you very much for a great experience.

    Japanese Cherry Blossom Tattoo

    I actually just came from there and couldn't wait to post a review!!! This was the first time receiving a tattoo at South of Heaven and all I can say is "so crazy awesome!!" My sisters and I came to this shop to support a wonderful cause! We are extremely pleased with the outcome. The shop is clean, staff is friendly, they made me feel comfortable, and overall a great experience.. Thanks so much Sean for such a beautiful tattoo on my foot! I love it! You definitely will be seeing more of me :)

    Great Job!

    I got my nose pierced at South of Heaven about a year ago and was very happy with how fast I could get in (that day) and how clean it was there. Last month I heard they were doing cherry blossoms for Japan relief, so I booked an appointment. They were happy to book my friend and I back to back so we could sit in with each other.The tattoo was better than I expected. It is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's all healed up. The artist was very talented and used a lot of bright colors. I would totally go back there for another tattoo.

    Not impressed

    When I went to check out my design it looked like a little kid drew it. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

    Usually the artwork is created based on what the customer wants. Sometimes if the customer brings us specific reference, it may not transfer well as a design, or there could be some diferences of opinion between the customer and the artist. We do have different artists with different specialties. It seems that what the customer wanted may not have been what the artist came up with. However, this is a generalization based on artwork, this person did not get a tattoo or piercing therefore, we find the comment to be irrelevant. We are always more than happy to re-do a design if that is not what the customer had in mind, or switch to a different artist if there are differences of opinion.
