    Wanted $890 for a...

    Wanted $890 for a lower control arm repair. Claimed it was a serious safety concern and needed immediate replacement. My own inspection yielding it was wearing but fine. Replaced both anyways, mechanic @ $310, self-installed @ $120 + 1hr.
