My waiter Bianca was a dream and such a sweetheart. Ask her to teach you some words in Italian! The chefs truly take dedication and care into making great Italian dishes. Sabina (one of the owners) is so personable & she made me feel like part of the family! They even made my pizza into a heart shape for me - I was in heaven! :)

I can't say enough about this place! I have been going since 1998! So a well established place.
I go for lunch hot plate. You can choose several items from: peppers, pasta, chicken, sausage, broccoli, potato, bread. Where else can you get a full, healthy delicious, hot meal for $8.00.
I haven't been there for supper and I don't think they offer the hot plate on weekends or supper. It is in a business park so they really cater to the weekday lunch.

my wife and I were there for a celebration, and it was a great choice to try this restaurant.
treated great from the moment we walked in.
Service was very good throughout. Chef Corrie came out to say hello, brought us after dinner drink and comlimentary dessert. Our dinner, soft shell crab was a good choice. My wife had the special (full sea bass) amazing. And my steak was perfectly cooked and tender.
we will be back. thanks to Corrie and the staff for making it a great evening.

Service was excellent and the food presentation was that of a class house but with moderate (a pleasant surprise) pricing. My first visit and definitly not my last. It's 1 week later and I'm bringing my family back with me to dine. The rainbow trout grilled in parchment paper was fabulouse and worth reccomending to my gang.

Had the veal. Quality, great sauce, wish there was little more meat, but having been to others in the GTA this was excellent. Had the peppers on and they didn't charge extra and they were firm not mushy. Great experience definitely going back.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff at Mastro Roberto for a SPECTAULAR celebration lunch my twins Confirmation yesterday.
The food was DELISH, especially the pizza, pasta and seafood - you and the servers were very accommodating. Our party of 20 was looked after even though the restaurant was very busy with Mothers Day patrons. We thank you for that.
I will definitely not hesitate to recommend Mastro Roberto as well as look forward to eating there again.

Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it.
